Isa Yachts

ISA Yachts, which stands for International Shipyards Ancona, has been building luxury yachts since it was formed by the yachting conglomerate Rodriguez Group in 2001.

ISA’s specialty is in designing, constructing and refitting 24-meter to 100-meter super yachts made of steel, aluminum, and fiberglass.

The company has a 50,000-square meter shipyard in Ancona, Italy, which includes covered areas for on-site plant installation and joinery processes. The shipyard is one of the first in the country to establish formal systems and is big enough to accommodate the construction of more than nine boats at the same time. It is also compliant with international standard OHSAS 1800.2007 and is certified by Bureau Veritas.

ISA cooperates with Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN) when developing naval architecture and also tests all the company’s hulls in this institute. The managers, Gianluca Fenucci and Marcello Maggi, oversee a workforce of more than a hundred highly educated and experienced people, including naval architects, mechanical engineers, and designers.

To date, ISA has launched 32 mega yachts. Its superyacht Mary-Jean II won The World Superyacht Awards in 2011 while the 66-meter OKTO won an award for “Best Exterior Design” at the World Yachts Trophies in 2014.

In 2016, ISA Yachts was acquired by Palumbo Group.
